Norway's action plan for realising women's rights

This action plan sets targets and stakes out the course for the realisation of women’s rights and gender equality both as a separate priority area and as an integral dimension in the Norwegian government’s other development cooperation priority areas. Priority is given to the following thematic priority areas:

1. women’s political empowerment
2. women’s economic empowerment
3. sexual and reproductive health and rights
4. violence against women
   

The action plan is intended to boost efforts to promote women’s rights and gender equality in the international community and among Norway’s cooperation partners. The annex of this publication includes key reference documents and a toolbox
