Conference: Children and the law

The Law Society of Singapore and LAWASIA (the Law Association for Asia and the Pacific) are organising a regional conference on Children and the Law from 27-28th May in Singapore. The conference aims to promote discussion on a wide range of contemporary issues involving children and the law in the Asia Pacific region and beyond.

Apart from examining current issues of concern in the areas of custody and access, the role of experts, cross-border enforcement issues, juvenile justice and the area of caring for children with special needs, the Conference also aims to throw up new ideas and promote the sharing of information amongst practitioners of different jurisdictions as to their experience in child issues in their respective domestic arena.
